As a Senior Consultant you will:
Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and developing solutions
Author presentations and present findings to clients
Supervise junior staff and manage parts of client engagements
Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting
Specifically for this role you will provide advice regarding Business Intelligence solutions capabilities and functions to customer organizations, analyzing and diagnosing the business issues to develop an understanding of customer's business and project scope. You will also be involved in the configuration and implementation of the Cognos suite with client and consulting team members.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Experience implementing data warehouse solutions with Cognos as the reporting tool is essential
Experience in an IT consulting environment is an asset;
A technical degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline;
Detail oriented with passion for technical quality and client service excellence
Ability to build strong client and peer relationships while working in a team environment
Structured and strong organization skills in a consulting environment
Understanding of best practice systems implementation methodologies
This position requires frequent travel to serve clients across North America .
