SAP MM job prospect

The prospects for a job in SAP are ever increasing. With more and more companies looking for a business solution using SAP, it is clear that SAP is here to stay for quite sometimes.

In line with other SAP modules, the SAP MM, SD, FI-CO modules are the more popular ones, because no company using SAP can function without these modules.
They are the evergreen modules of SAP. Especially the MM modules, because no matter what kind of Industry you may be in, you need to procure and serve your customers. That is why most of the BIG companies like RIM, Motorola, Bell Canada, and Telus are constantly looking for people with expertise in these areas. SAP is very expensive software for the companies to install and implement, so they do not want to take risk by giving to the people who have no knowledge of SAP. This is where SAP trained people come into play with their extensive knowledge and are able to give the business some leverage. The average starting salary of an MM consultant is $60K and above, depending on your experience.

Once you have successfully mastered the logistics areas of SAP, you are ready to explore other modules as well depending on your skills and abilities. Thus adding value to your profile, which in translation means big success and more money for you. As you gain experience and spend more time, you are also increasing your value day by day.
